Francesco Ferretti

Francesco Ferretti is a marine ecologist and fisheries scientist whose work focuses on marine conservation, fish population dynamics, and quantitative ecology, with a special interest in sharks and rays. He has held academic appointments including Assistant Professor of Fisheries Management and Conservation at Virginia Tech and has also worked on understanding the history of human impacts on ocean ecosystems and developing sustainable marine resource use solutions.
