Fortunatus Dwarris

Sir Fortunatus William Lilley Dwarris (1786–1860) was an English lawyer, author, and barrister-at-law of the Middle Temple, knighted in 1837. Born in Jamaica as the eldest son of William Dwarris, he was educated at Eton, served as recorder of Newcastle-under-Lyme, commissioner for municipal corporations, and master of the Court of Queen's Bench, and was a Fellow of the Royal Society.[1][2][3]
