Florence Knapp
Florence Knapp is a British author and heritage craftsperson known for her expertise in English paper piecing, detailed in her 2018 nonfiction book *Flossie Teacakes’ Guide to English Paper Piecing* and contributions to the Victoria & Albert Museum's *Patchwork & Quilting*. She gained prominence through her popular sewing blog Flossie Teacakes around 2002 and debuted as a novelist in 2024 with *The Names*, a story exploring survival and healing after domestic violence, set for translation into over twenty languages. Now 48 as of 2025, she lives just outside London with her husband, dog Nell, and has two grown children.
