Flora Kidd
Flora Mildred Kidd, born in Liverpool, England in 1926, was a prolific romance novelist who graduated from Liverpool University in 1949, married Robert Kidd, and moved to Scotland where she taught and raised four children while beginning her writing career with her debut novel Visit to Rowanbank in 1966 for Mills & Boon. She authored over 60 romance novels until 1989, later moving to Canada in 1977 and publishing additional works including historical novels tied to the Marco Polo Project. She passed away on March 19, 2008, in Saint John, New Brunswick.
