Evelyn Lilian H Martinengo Cesaresco

Evelyn Lillian Haseldine Carrington, Countess of Martinengo-Cesaresco (1852-1931), was a British writer, historian, and folklorist well known in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. She was a popularizer of ethnographic materials and folk songs, writing for Victorian magazines aimed at the educated middle class, and is also recognized as a historian of Risorgimento Italy.
