Evelyn Hood

Evelyn Hood (1936-2023) was a Scottish Sunday Times bestselling author known for over 30 novels, including family sagas set in her hometown of Paisley and the 'Prior’s Ford' series in the Scottish borders, as well as plays, pantomimes, musicals, and short stories.[1][2] A former journalist and poultry farmer, her works, particularly the Paisley Saga, gained a global following.[2][3]
