Eugenia Vanina

Eugenia Vanina is a Russian historian and Indologist, serving as Chief Researcher at the Institute of Oriental Studies, Russian Academy of Sciences, and Head of the Centre for Indian Studies since 1985. She graduated from Moscow State University, holds a Doctor of History degree, and specializes in medieval Indian history, society, urban crafts, and interpretations of Indian pasts.
