Eugene E. Harris

Eugene E. Harris is a molecular anthropologist and Professor of Biological Sciences and Geology at Queensborough Community College, part of the City University of New York, and a Research Affiliate at the Center for the Study of Human Origins at New York University. He is the author of 'Ancestors in Our Genome: The New Science of Human Evolution,' which provides a lucid account of human genome evolution from a population genetics perspective. Harris draws on his extensive research in primate evolution to explore human origins and address key questions in genome science.
