Ethel Lina White

Ethel Lina White was a British crime writer from Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, Wales, best known for her suspense novel *The Wheel Spins*, which was adapted into Alfred Hitchcock’s *The Lady Vanishes*. She also wrote short stories and other mystery and thriller novels, and was considered a notable writer of psychological suspense in her day.
