Ethan Smith

Ethan Smith (1762–1849) was a New England Congregationalist clergyman in the United States who wrote View of the Hebrews (1823), arguing that Native Americans descended from the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel[1][4]. He also served as a Continental soldier during the Revolutionary War and published numerous religious works including A key to the Revelation and Memoirs of Mrs. Abigail Bailey[3][7].
