Erzsebet Csuhaj-Varju
Erzsébet Csuhaj-Varjú is a Hungarian full professor and MTA doctor specializing in theoretical computer science, with key contributions to formal languages, automata, grammar systems, and bio-inspired computation. She earned her mathematics degree from KLTE in 1977 and her computer science doctorate in 1981, later becoming a leading researcher at Eötvös Loránd University and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. She currently heads the Department of Algorithms and Applications at ELTE's Faculty of Informatics and leads the PhD School in Informatics.
