Ernest Belefort Bax

Ernest Belfort Bax (1854–1926) was a prominent English barrister, journalist, philosopher, and socialist who became a leading figure in the British Marxist movement during its formative years. He was a notable advocate for men's rights, authoring works such as The Legal Subjection of Men and The Fraud of Feminism, and is considered a precursor to masculinism. Bax was also a close associate of Karl Marx and a member of the Social Democratic Federation.
