Eric Cazdyn
Eric Cazdyn is a Distinguished Professor of Aesthetics and Politics at the University of Toronto, affiliated with the Centre for Comparative Literature, Department of East Asian Studies, Cinema Studies, and the Literature and Critical Theory Program.[1][3] He teaches courses on critical and cultural theory, psychoanalysis, Marxism, Deleuze, film and video, architecture, modern literature, and modern Japan, with research interests in aesthetics and politics, Japanese film and literature, globalization, and medical culture.[1] His notable book, *The Flash of Capital: Film and Geopolitics in Japan*, was published by Duke University Press in 2002.[1]
