Arthur Joseph Munby (1828–1910) was an English civil servant, barrister, poet, and diarist known for his close observation of Victorian life. He published a volume of poetry in 1852, but he is best remembered for the extensive diaries he kept from 1859 until near the end of his life, which offer valuable insights into the social history of his era.
