Elys Dolan

Elys Dolan is a British author and illustrator of humorous children's picture books featuring characters like weasels plotting world domination, seagull detectives, and capitalist bunny rabbits.[1][3] She studied on the MA in Children’s Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art, where she placed second in the Macmillan Prize, and now lectures there while holding a PhD in humour in picture books.[1][3][4] Her works have earned awards including the Zena Sutherland Award, STEAM Children's Book Prize, and Lollies Prize.[1][5]
