Eloise Greenfield
Eloise Greenfield was an American children’s book author, biography writer, and poet known for her rhythmic style and her positive portrayal of the African American experience. She published her first picture book in 1972 and went on to write more than 30 books for children, including poetry collections and biographies of notable figures.
