Ellen Feldman
Ellen Feldman (born 1941) is an American author of historical fiction, raised in New Jersey, who attended Bryn Mawr College and earned B.A. and M.A. degrees in modern history, later pursuing graduate studies at Columbia University. A 2009 Guggenheim Fellow, she has written acclaimed novels including Scottsboro (shortlisted for the Orange Prize), The Boy Who Loved Anne Frank (a New York Times Editors' Choice), Paris Never Leaves You (translated into 13 languages), and The Trouble with You (published 2024). She lives in New York City and East Hampton, New York, and has also published under the pseudonym Amanda Russell.
