Elizabeth Petty Bentley

Elizabeth Terrill Bentley was an American Soviet spy and later an FBI informant and whistleblower who testified publicly about Communist espionage in the United States. She published her memoir *Out of Bondage* in 1951 and spent her later years teaching languages in Connecticut before her death in 1963.
