Elizabeth George
Elizabeth George (Susan Elizabeth George) is an American mystery novelist born in Warren, Ohio, who is best known for her Inspector Thomas Lynley series set in England. Initially a high school English teacher in California, she transitioned to writing after publishing her first novel, A Great Deliverance, in 1988. Her crime novels have been translated into 30 languages and adapted for television by the BBC, and she continues to teach writing seminars internationally.
