Elizabeth Burton

Alice Elizabeth Burton (1908-1990) was a British-Canadian novelist, journalist, and popular historian who wrote comic fantasy novels under the pseudonym Susan Alice Kerby in the 1940s. She changed her surname from Aitken to Burton by deed poll in 1950 and subsequently published her historical writing under the name Elizabeth Burton.
