Elisabeth Okasha

Elisabeth Okasha (née Barty) is a professor emerita of English language at University College Cork, recognized as an expert in early medieval language and inscribed objects.[1] Her research spans epigraphy, archaeology, history, and literature, particularly Old English literature and language, including works on early Cornish sculpture and Anglo-Saxon artifacts.[1][2][5]
