Eline Zenner

Eline Zenner is an associate professor of Dutch at KU Leuven's Brussels campus, specializing in sociolinguistics, contact linguistics, and cognitive linguistics. She obtained her MA in Dutch and English literature and linguistics in 2007 and defended her PhD in 2013, focusing on the impact of foreign languages like English on Dutch. Her research combines insights from corpus linguistics and inferential statistics to study borrowing and loanword usage in Dutch media.
