Eli M Noam
Eli M. Noam is a prominent economist and professor emeritus of finance and economics at Columbia Business School, where he has taught since 1976 and directed the Columbia Institute for Tele-Information, focusing on media, telecommunications, internet, and digital management.[1][2][4] He previously served as New York State Public Service Commissioner, on the President’s IT Advisory Committee, and has taught at institutions including Columbia Law School, Princeton, and Swiss universities; he holds AB, AM, PhD in Economics, and JD from Harvard.[4][5] Noam has authored 37 books and over 350 articles on media economics and policy, and is married to Nadine Strossen, former ACLU president.[1][4]
