Elena Varvello
Elena Varvello is an Italian poet and writer born in Turin in 1971, who grew up in a small village nearby. She earned a Master's in Creative Writing, published poetry collections *Perseveranza è salutare* (2002) and *Atlanti* (2004), a short story collection *L’economia delle cose* (2007) nominated for Premio Strega, and novels including *La vita felice* (2016) and *Solo un ragazzo* (2020). She teaches Creative Writing at Scuola Holden in Turin and lives in Pino Torinese with her husband and two children.[1][2][3]
