Eleanor Stanford

Eleanor Stanford is an American poet and writer, and the author of three books of poetry: The Book of Sleep, Bartram's Garden, and The Imaginal Marriage. Her work has appeared in Poetry, Ploughshares, The Harvard Review, and other journals, and she has received an NEA fellowship and a Fulbright fellowship to Brazil, where she researched traditional midwifery.
