Elbert Hubbard

Elbert Green Hubbard was an American writer, publisher, artist, and philosopher best known for founding the Roycroft artisan community in East Aurora, New York, and for his influential role in the Arts and Crafts movement. He is also remembered for the essay "A Message to Garcia" and for dying with his wife aboard the RMS Lusitania in 1915.
