Eileen Lucas

Eileen (O'Donnell) Lucas grew up in Chicago, graduated from Western Illinois University after spending a semester in Ireland, and lived near Lake Geneva, Wisconsin for over 20 years where her sons were born[1]. She worked as a freelance writer and an elementary and middle school teacher before moving to Florida, where she now enjoys the beach and listening to Jimmy Buffett music[1]. Besides writing nonfiction children's books, she also writes for an educational software publishing company in Wisconsin[1].
