Eileen Goudge

Eileen Goudge (born July 4, 1950, in San Mateo, California) is an American author known for women's fiction, romance, historical fiction, and children's literature, with her debut adult novel Garden of Lies (1989) becoming a New York Times bestseller that sold millions worldwide.[1][2][6] She began her career as a freelance journalist and ghostwriter for Sweet Valley High before achieving success after overcoming hardships as a single mother on welfare.[2][3][7] Married to radio reporter Sandy Kenyon and living in New York, she has authored over twenty novels, including mysteries like Bones and Roses.[2][5]
