Edward St Aubyn

Edward St Aubyn (born 1960) is an English author and journalist best known for his semi-autobiographical Patrick Melrose novels, which explore themes of trauma, addiction, and aristocracy. His works include eleven novels, with Mother's Milk shortlisted for the 2006 Man Booker Prize and winner of the 2007 South Bank Show award. He was educated at Westminster School and Keble College, Oxford, and comes from a family of noble descent with a troubled upbringing.[1][2]
