Edward Dwelly

Edward Dwelly (1864–1939) was an English lexicographer and genealogist best known for compiling the authoritative Gaelic dictionary, a major reference work for Scottish Gaelic. He also taught himself printing and published works on Gaelic language, parish registers, and pedigrees, with his dictionary later recognized as highly influential.[1][2]
