Edward Denison

Dr. Edward Denison is a Professor of Architecture and Global Modernities at The Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London (UCL). He has worked on research and heritage projects across Asia, Africa, and Europe, notably winning the RIBA President’s Medal for Research in 2016 and 2017 for his work on Asmara, Eritrea, and Ultra-Modernism in Manchuria. His publications include 'Asmara – Africa’s Secret Modernist City' (2003), 'Modernism in China' (2008), and 'The Life of the British Home' (2012).[2][4]
