Edward de Bono
Edward de Bono was a Maltese physician, psychologist, author, and philosopher renowned for originating the term 'lateral thinking' in his 1967 book *The Use of Lateral Thinking* and developing the popular 'Six Thinking Hats' method for creative problem-solving. A Rhodes Scholar at Oxford, he authored over 85 books translated into numerous languages, influencing fields like business, education, and innovation. He passed away in 2021 at the age of 88.
