Edward Bunker
Edward Bunker was an American author of crime fiction, screenwriter, and actor who spent much of his early life in U.S. prisons before becoming a respected writer of gritty noir novels. His debut novel, 'No Beast So Fierce,' was adapted into the film 'Straight Time,' and he also appeared as Mr. Blue in Quentin Tarantino's 'Reservoir Dogs.' Bunker's works often drew from his own experiences with incarceration and the brutal realities of urban life.
