Edward Bulwer Lytton

Edward Bulwer-Lytton (1803–1873) was an English novelist, poet, playwright, and politician, widely read in the 19th century and remembered for popular works such as "The Last Days of Pompeii" and "Pelham." He also served in Parliament and later became 1st Baron Lytton, with a writing career spanning fiction, poetry, essays, and drama.[3][4][5]
