Eduard Schweizer

Eduard Schweizer (1913–2006) was a Swiss Protestant theologian and New Testament scholar, best known for his work as a professor of New Testament at the University of Zurich.[1][2][3] He specialized in New Testament studies, contributed significantly to biblical scholarship, and received the Burkitt Medal for Biblical Studies in 1996.[3] Schweizer retired from teaching in 1979 and passed away in Zurich.[3]
