Edmond Holmes

Edmond Gore Alexander Holmes (1850–1936) was an Anglo-Irish educationalist, writer, and poet known for his critique of Western thought and his influential work on education. He served as Chief Inspector of Elementary Schools in England and later became noted for his writings on Walt Whitman and educational reform.
