Janet K. Boles is a scholar and professor emerita of political science at Marquette University, known for her work on feminism, gender politics, and American political movements. She co-authored the Historical Dictionary of Feminism (2004, revised edition) with Diane Long Hoeveler and has published research on topics such as the effect of gender on perceptions of elected officials and the evolution of American feminism.[1][2][3][7]
