Earl K. Hyde

Earl K. Hyde was an American chemist and nuclear scientist who worked at the University of Chicago's Metallurgical Laboratory during the Manhattan Project. He later became deputy director emeritus at Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory and authored works on synthetic transuranium elements. Hyde was born in Rossburn, Manitoba, and grew up in Joliet, Illinois.
