Earl E. Swartzlander

Earl E. Swartzlander Jr. is a distinguished professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin, where he has held the Schlumberger Centennial Chair in Engineering since 2006. He joined UT Austin in 1990 after working at TRW Space and Defense and was elected a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors in 2021 for his contributions to computer engineering and processor design.
