E. A. Budge
Sir Ernest Alfred Thompson Wallis Budge (1857–1934) was an English Egyptologist, Orientalist, and philologist who worked for the British Museum and published extensively on the ancient Near East. He made numerous trips to Egypt and Anglo-Egyptian Sudan to acquire antiquities and manuscripts, helping build the British Museum's collections and popularize Egyptology through his books.[2][3]
