Duncan Robinson

David Duncan Robinson (1943–2022) was a British art historian and academic, renowned as a leading authority on British art from the eighteenth century onwards.[1] He served as director of the Yale Center for British Art from 1981 to 1995 and later as Master of Magdalene College, Cambridge from 2002 to 2012.[1][3] He was appointed CBE in 2008 for services to art heritage and held positions such as chairman of the Henry Moore Foundation.[3]
