Duane T. McRuer

Duane T. McRuer was an engineer and control systems expert born in Bakersfield, California. He served as a Lieutenant in the Navy during World War II developing anti-submarine technology, and later became a prominent figure in automatic control, serving as President of the American Automatic Control Council from 1972-1973. He was the Chairman of Systems Technology Inc. and made significant contributions to engineering and technology.
