Dr John Stafford

Dr. John Stafford is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, specializing in the Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism, and serves as the Section Chief of Endocrinology at Tennessee Valley Veterans Hospital. His research focuses on the mechanisms by which obesity and diabetes contribute to non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and cardiovascular disease. He is also the Director of the Lipid Clinic and holds a PhD, making him a physician-scientist with expertise in endocrinology.
