Dr. Annabelle Manalo-Morgan PhD

Dr. Annabelle Manalo-Morgan, PhD, is a Filipino-Canadian cell and developmental biologist, educator, author, and founder of Mighty Ventures and Masaya Medical Inc. She earned her doctorate from Vanderbilt University, where she researched genetic mutations and chemotherapy-associated cardiotoxicity, and later pivoted to translational medicine after developing a cannabinoid-based formulation that saved her son's life in 2016. Her ForbesBooks best-selling memoir, *Mighty Flower: How Cannabis Saved My Son*, was published in 2023, and she was named one of the 'Most Influential Filipina Women in the World' in 2022.
