Dougal Robertson

Dougal Robertson was a Scottish author and sailor best known for his memoir *Survive the Savage Sea*, which recounts how he and his family survived 37 days adrift in the Pacific after their schooner was attacked by orcas in 1972. He was born in Edinburgh and is remembered for this remarkable survival story as well as his writing on the experience.
