Dorothy Love is an award-winning historical fiction author known for novels such as Mrs. Lee and Mrs. Gray and A Season in Saigon, which explore themes of loyalty, courage, and historical events like the Civil War and Vietnam War. Before focusing on adult fiction, she published twelve novels for young adults and middle graders, following a career in journalism, teaching, and earning advanced degrees. She feels she was born a century too late, reflecting her passion for 19th-century history.
