Doris Simonis (Editor)

Doris Simonis is an American academic and author who served as a faculty member in the School of Education at the University of Montana in Missoula. She wrote the 1982 article 'Women in Science: A Developing Country' published in the Iowa Science Teachers Journal, addressing gender disparities in science education. Simonis is best known as the editor of the 1999 encyclopedia 'Scientists, Mathematicians, and Inventors: Lives and Legacies,' featuring biographies of influential figures in science and mathematics.
