Donna Jo Napoli
Donna Jo Napoli is an American linguist and prolific writer of children's and young adult fiction, born on February 28, 1948, in Miami, Florida, as the youngest of four children in an Italian-American family. She is a professor of linguistics at Swarthmore College, with prior teaching positions at institutions like the University of Pennsylvania and Georgetown University, and has authored numerous books addressing real-life challenges faced by young people.[1][2][3]
