Donald Featherstone

Donald Featherstone (1918-2013) was a British author and influential figure in wargaming, writing over 40 books on wargaming and military history. A World War II veteran who served in the Royal Armoured Corps, he published his first wargaming book, War Games, in 1962, revolutionizing the hobby by advancing beyond H.G. Wells' rules. He edited Wargamer’s Newsletter for 18 years, inspiring generations of wargamers.
