Don Lessem

Don Lessem, known as 'Dino' Don, is an American author, science journalist, and dinosaur expert born in 1951 in New York, NY, who has written over 50 popular science books specializing in dinosaurs and natural history.[1][2][3] He founded the Dinosaur Society and Jurassic Foundation, raising millions for dinosaur research, served as a science advisor for Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park, hosted NOVA documentaries, and has a dinosaur, Lessemsaurus, named after him.[2][3][4][5] Lessem also leads Dino Don Inc., creating scientifically accurate animatronic dinosaurs for exhibitions and has excavated major fossils in Patagonia and Mongolia.[2][6][7]
